Steve Selby Photography has been awarded a Bronze Bar by the Guild of photographers judges for the following images.
I am absolutely over the moon to be awarded bronze bar’s for the following images. Being the official photographer for Charlotte & Kevin’s wedding was a pure privilege. The families travelled from far and wide and the day was filled with fun and laughter.
The weather was very kind to the pair as they made there vows to each other in the company of there nearest and dearest friends and family some of whom had travelled miles for their special day. This made my job a lot easier and helped me achieve the bronze bar award. Following the ceremony they treated their guests to canapés and drinks on the lawn, and the opportunity for the family to get aquatinted by taking part in a battle of inflatable wrestling.
The wedding breakfast started with the speeches and then each table was treated to having their meals carved at the table by one of the guests. Following the main course a singing surprise had been arranged by Charlotte as a treat for her new husband and the rest of the wedding party. One of the waiters and a waitress launched in song and had all the guests performing conga lines around the venue to some classic tunes, and a couple of Irish ones as well.
Following the wedding breakfast an Irish band performed out on the lawn and the inside the venue where guests joined in the Irish dancing. During the band playing I took the bridal party down to the beautiful steps where I snapped one of the bronze bar award winning images
The newlywed then cut the cake and had their 1st dance as husband and wife to a Classic Elton John song. The Guinness was flowing well throughout the day and this was wrong over especially from Ireland for their big day.
